In this redesign of a Fine Art Deco residence in the Melbourne commuter belt of Caulfield, We reordered the insides of the home to make another spine. The Kumquat Tree Home was so named to its perspective of the organic product tree in the lawn.
Two outside "rooms" were attached to the house. The deck toward the east can transform into an open air silver screen because of the twofold sided projector display at the glass of the house theater. Toward the west, the bigger deck highlights a twofold sided chimney.
An expansive solid island isolates the kitchen with the living ranges. Orange-tinted timber entwines the first terracotta with black highlights both all around. The rear of the residence elements leaf-metal cladding.
The outline consolidates old with new, permitting the redesigned areas to suitable in and the first home also including a contemporary vibration.
